Chloe Wise

In her upcoming solo-exhibition, Canadian artist Chloe Wise explores the sublime through the interplay of film, sculpture and painting. She asks how we perceive reality—and what lies hidden beyond the reach of our senses and language. What we call consensus reality is in truth a shifting field of vibrating waves and particles, shaped into order by perception and storytelling. Yet the very tools that allow us to construct the world also blind us to what cannot be named. Drawing on philosophy, mythology, and contemporary culture, Wise reflects on phenomena that resist definition, from the poetic to the uncanny, from angels to UFOs. The exhibition opens a dreamlike space where metaphor and imagination invite us to approach the ineffable—experiences that remain beyond words, yet profoundly felt.
